This matrix may offer you some assistance if you run into a problem with the program. Check here before calling for help.

Problem	Solution
Does Not Print	When you go to print, the HP DeskJet 500 driver MUST be selected. Make sure that you have the HP DeskJet 500 and the HP LaserJet III drivers installed on your system before running JETMate^©.
Does Not Show TrueType Fonts	Make sure that you have the HP LaserJet III driver installed on your system before running JETMate^©. If the driver is not installed, you will not be able to use this feature.
Gives a run-time error.	Save your layout and restart the program. If you setup a database template while in the layout designer, you may experience this problem. Always setup your data files from the database menu before creating your template.
Reverse Print Considerations	If you are trying to print in reverse mode from JETMate^© on a mailpiece larger than a #10, you may get an error on the printer stating "address too long". To fix this, simply print from JETMate^© in NORMAL print mode and local-lock the Reverse print mode on the printer's control panel. To do so, follow this procedure: 1. Put the printer into programming mode by pressing the PROG key on the printer control panel. 2. Hit the PROG key and change to Setting 9, then hit PROG again. 3. Hit the 'NEXT' button until ORIENTATION appears and hit PROG again. 4. Change to REV print mode, then hit PROG again. 5. Hit the far right key on the printer control panel. 'Local Lock: NO' will appear. 6. Hit the far right key again so the display reads 'local lock: YES' You are now set up to use reverse mode. The printer will stay local-locked until you change it, or perform a default reset.
